"I stand before you today as open as I can ever be, humbled by the light and love in your eyes. 13 years ago, I met the most amazing man on earth! I flew on the wings of that love, uncaring, unheeding! Believing firmly that you are and will always be the wind beneath my wings
Life happened, oh yes Life happened but through it all my heart beat only for you!My heartbreak became my greatest joy! My strength! My life! Day after day I am more in love with you!
When people ask me what is love! I say Love is right here! This moment! This second! Today! Tomorrow! Love is you! Love is real! Love is my eternity with you Innocent Ujah Idibia
See the rest after the cut....
I give you all of me today knowing that in you and you only has this imperfect girl found perfection!!!I do 13 years ago when I met you, I do seven years ago, I do five years ago when we created our daughter! I do through all the blogs and tabloid headlines
And on this day, at this very second I stand in front of the world and I say I do take you as my wedded husband! I love you!
I love you so much, so so much"
Annie Idibia.
See 2face’s vows below:
Many years ago I was farther than the eyes could see.
Now we are now in that future
When I look into your eyes, I still see
You came into my life and you lit it up
Like the sun, like the moon, like the stars
All the words in the dictionary
All the words in this world can not be enough
To say what my heart feels for you.
But all I can say is baby, my heart is like a stereo right now
And it will beat only for you till death do us part.
I love you baby.

W/CUP QUALIFIER: MIKEL, MARTINS, MOSES STORM CAMP TODAY
Twelve out of 23 players expected to feature for the national team against the Harambee Stars of Kenya on Saturday started training in Calabar on Monday evening.
Apart from the nine home-based named earlier on Sunday by Coach Stephen Keshi, Israeli based keeper, Austin Ejide, Ukraine based midfielder Babatunde Michael and Velaranga of Norway combative midfielder, Fegor Ogude, were the early callers at the team's camp at Transcorp Metropolitan Hotel in Calabar.
Ogude flew with the team from Abuja to Calabar, while Ejide joined up about an hour after the team's arrival. Michael was just on time to hop into the team's bus for the day's training session.
Mikel, Martins and Moses
The team departed for training at about 3:30pm at the Abaraham Ordia Sports Complex inside the University of Calabar and will repeat same tomorrow and all through the days leading to the match against Harambee Stars.
Head Coach Stephen Keshi says he expects a full house by Tuesday morning, adding that training will be the same time and all players expected should have been in, as he needs a good number of training sessions for the team to jell against Kenya. 'We would have a full house for Tuesday's evening training and from there we see how ready the players are for the task at hand', he declared.
The team had a light training session with the UNICAL Football team before it went into its own session that was supervised by Keshi and his assistants.
Keshi's Nine NPL Stars: Chigozie Agbim, Godfrey Oboabona, Azubuike Egwueke, Gabriel Reuben, Sunday Mba, Solomon Kwambe, Benjamin Francis, Obinna Nwachukw, Gambo Mohammed.
FIFA Confed Cup Our Next Challenge — Eagles

The players spearheaded by their captain veteran player Joseph Yobo who has been wearing the Super Eagles jersey as a defender for 11/12 years now saluted the head coach Stephen Keshi who has now won the African title as a player in Tunisia 1994 and as a coach in 2013 for the victory as he gave and showed some level of confidence in the squad.
Looking ahead, the players say they are moving forward and their next target now is the Fifa Confederations Cup which will taking place in Brazil come June 2013, they see it as a bigger event than the AFCON 2013 because it is a ‘Festival of Champions’ as it is also called and they hope to make Nigeria and Africa proud.
As African champions, Nigeria’s Super Eagles has been grouped with World Champions Spain, Uruguay and Tahiti in Group B of the Confederations Cup in Brazil.
Super Eagles enjoys first party, will there be another?

Winning the Nations Cup is enough incentive to send the winner into ‘cloud nine’ but what is the point winning the tournament and missing out on the big stage “ The World Cup?”
Nigeria will on Saturday in Calabar host the Harambee Stars of Kenya, looking to capitalize on home advantage to take all three points, and consolidate on top spot in Group F.
History suggests that Kenya have never been an obstacle to Nigeria,as a matter of fact,Nigeria secured its last World Cup ticket for FIFA 2010 World Cup,defeating Kenya 3-2 in Nairobi.
But at the same time, history does not play football, and there is a maxim that says “beware of the underdogs,” surely they have no point to prove.
Super Eagles coach,Stephen Keshi, succinctly buttressed the point, when he said that,he is wary of the threat other African countries poses to Nigeria,by virtue of its current status “African champions,” knowing that they would definitely flex their muscles, when they come up against Super Eagles.
No doubt Nigeria is would be basking in the euphoria of winning the Nations Cup,but still dwelling on it could have an ‘ambivalent effect.’
Nigeria have four points from two games, but it wasn’t a walk in the park. Struggling hard to defeat Namibia 2-0,and not holding on to a lead against Malawi,to draw 1-1 in the last minute of the game in Blantyre, suggests that the road to Brazil is going to be tough.
Prior to this game against Kenya,so many distractions have engulfed the build-up to the match, like every other typical Nigerian game.
Definitely the coach’s choice of players was always going be scrutinized, but leaving out Joseph Yobo from the team, looked justified;after all he was not even starting in South Africa.
Keshi diplomatically said that he was not systematically retiring Yobo, and assured that the Fenerbahce defender is still in his plans. Well I believe that, but if Yobo is truthful to himself,he will know that making the team, will be by the grace of God.
Another catchy one was the omission of Ikechukwu Uche, who responded to his exclusion from the team by scoring two goals for Villareal.
But weren’t we all bewildered watching IK Uche play in South Africa? He was not the Nigerian darling, you can bank on to nick in the goals during the qualifiers, but was just a shadow of himself.
The biggest of the distractions came from the stunning revelations made by Nigeria’s top striker at the Nations Cup,Emmanuel Emenike, who without mincing words said that he was abandoned, after he copped a hamstring injury in the game against Mali.
Emenike blew the lid, when he said that not even the coach or any member of the NFF contacted him to know how he was faring.
If Emenike’s utterances weren’t startling enough,it further revealed a wide gulf that existed between the triumvirate of Coaches, Players and Officials.
Keshi admitted that he has not called Emenike, but cited that the player changed numbers, which raises the question, ‘ on what premise does he even draw his list of players from,’ from hearsays?
Further remarks,by the media officer of the Super Eagles,Ben Alaiya, has it that the technical crew were in touch through Ahmed Musa, who equally plies his trade in Russia with CSKA Moscow.
Bottom line is that,in Emenike we have a disgruntled player who felt let down by his country, despite leading the chase for the enemies at the battle ground and being left unattended to, in the wounds he sustained after helping his Nation win the war.
We should be wary not send the wrong signals to the minds of the players,in the sense that some would be playing with caution, with a hindsight to the fate that might befall them, when they take to the pitch and gets injured for Nigeria,as they could be ditched for other players.
Well that has been the trend with the Nigerian team, hope this Emenike’s incident nips it in the bud.
Another depressing thing that happened in the build-up to the game against Kenya was the lamentation by the Football Kenya Federation(FKF) that they were abandoned by the Nigeria Football Federation(NFF) upon arrival in Lagos for the qualifiers; with the pictures circulating around the internet, suggesting they trained in a community primary school in Oshodi,Lagos State, without any security.
NFF in their defence said that there was a breakdown in communication, and they were not duly informed about Kenya’s itinerary.
Don’t know who is saying the truth here, what could be gathered here is that African Football Federations are not professional enough.
I appreciate that teams will do everything possible to win and qualify for a major tournament, but can you imagine that any European country would indulge in such antics about hoarding their schedules,in other to have a perceived edge over the other?
Really such backward acts does no African country any good.
Nigeria will be facing a Kenyan side that will want to prove a point, but the Super Eagles know fully well how fickle their fans could be,should they fail to defeat Kenya.
Though winning the Nations Cup is still fresh in our minds, the bigger picture is qualifying for the 2014 World Cup,and the step to getting closer to Brazil is a victory on Saturday against Kenya.
In the words of Wole Soyinka: “ The road to success is always arduous, but ultimately rewarding.”
Hopefully the Super Eagles, will do just about enough to board a plane next year to Brazil as African champions.
Do you know : That the NFF denied allegations that some senior Super Eagles players led by John Obi Mikel, planned to boycott the game against Kenya, following the non-payment of their match bonus, for defeating Burkina Faso at the finals of the Nations Cup?

CONFEDERATION CUP: FIFA DANGLES $4M FOR SUPER EAGLES

The cash rain for the Super Eagles and the Nigeria Football Federation appears unending as the world football ruling body FIFA has just made the Confederations Cup more lucrative.
No matter which way the Confederation Cup title goes, Nigeria will return from the intercontinental football fiesta in June with lots of cash.
FIFA has increased the total prize money for the competition by 14 per cent compared with the last edition held in South Africa in 2009, giving the winners the opportunity to go home with over $4m besides carting home the trophy. The runners-up, meanwhile, will earn $3.6m.
In all a total prize pool of $20m will be shared among the eight participating nations. The winners of the third-place match will go home with $3m, while the fourth-placed team will have $2.5m.
Teams eliminated during the group phase and finishing fifth, sixth, seventh and eighth will each receive $1.7m.
At the 2009 edition of the FIFA Confederations Cup, the total prize fund was $17.6m, with champions Brazil picking up $3.75m along with the coveted trophy.
The Super Eagles qualified to be part of the event after emerging as the African champions at the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations in South Africa where they went past Ivory Coast and Mali at the knock-out stages before beating Burkina Faso 1-0 in the final.
Nigeria are the second least rated team at the Confederations Cup (30 in the FIFA rankings) behind Tahiti who are 148th. But being African champions should count for something when they play world champions, Spain, Uruguay and Tahiti in Group B of the tournament. Experts say winning the African cup has improved their position psychologically. Eagles’ opening game is against islanders Tahiti in the competition billed for Brazil.
STEPHEN KESHI INVITES FOUR MORE PLAYERS FOR WORLD CUP QUALIFIER MATCH AGAINST KENYA

FOUR of the players invited for the March 23 Brazil 2014 World Cup qualifier, including Obafemi Martins, Chibuzor Okonkwo, John Ogu and Nnamdi Oduamadi are on special scrutiny to see if they can fit into the team being assembled by Coach Stephen Keshi for the forthcoming Confederation Cup.
An official of the Super Eagles, who pleaded anonymity, told The Guardian that despite Nigeria’s victory at the South Africa 2013 CAF Nations Cup, Keshi was not satisfied with the performance of some of the players hence his decision to give other players the chance to stake their claims to the Eagles jersey.
The source disclosed that the coach went ahead to invite Martins to the team’s camp despite opposition to the return of the Newcastle United former star to the team, adding that the coach will use the game against Kenya to test run his squad for the Confederation Cup.
“Keshi has been told so many good things about Okonkwo, so he wants to see the boy first hand to decide if he is the answer to the problem at the right back. Okonkwo was in the team prior to the Nations Cup, but he could not convince the coach because he had a short time to prove his worth.
“Now is another opportunity for the Rangers boy to show what he can do.
“Martins came into the picture because Ikechukwu Uche did not do himself any good in South Africa. But I must say that a lot of people opposed the invitation of Martins because they pointed out that if Keshi wanted a new team he should not be talking of players like Martins. But the coach knows best.”
The source also revealed that Ogu and Oduamadi were called up because Keshi is looking for options in the midfield, adding, “although, the coach has no problem with the midfield, he is looking for players who can give different dimensions in the team.”
Meanwhile, Keshi yesterday said he was quoted out of context when he explained why he did not give his team list tom the NFF technical committee before it was made public.
Speaking through Super Eagles media officer, Ben Alaiya, Keshi said, “what I said at the media chat was that I followed due process in the submission of my list to the NFF Secretariat and that the committee at that time was not seating.
“How can I talk of dissolution of a committee which in the first place I didn’t set it up, those, who want to maintain constant squabble in Nigerian football should be careful because I have had enough distraction of this nature since coming on board,” he said in an emotion laden tone.
He again called for total concentration for the game against Kenya, which he said is what is on his mind now and asked all stakeholders to unite in the drive to pick a 2014 World Cup ticket instead of causing quarrels among key officials of football in the country.

Gbasibetv: Nigeria Vs Kenya: “We Must Respect The Kenyans” – Sunday Mba

Despite earlier threats by Super Eagles coach Stephen Keshi that he would leave Sunday Mba out of the squad to play against Kenya, the Big Boss couldn’t leave his hero out, although the ownership tussle between Warri Wolves and Rangers of Enugu is yet to be resolved.
Sunday Mba has also left his troubles behind him to give his all in the match against the Harambee Stars of Kenya and has urged his team-mates not to disrespect their rivals in the 2014 World Cup qualifiers.
Mba stated that the Eagles should expect a tough game against the Kenyans, adding that they will not be pushovers.
Gbasibetv Sport: Nigeria Vs Kenya Tie: Eagles Target Early Goals
Media Officer of Nigeria’s Super Eagles, Ben Alaiya, has said that the team have been given an order to go for early goals when they meet the Harambee Stars of Kenya in a 2014 World Cup qualifier at the UJ Esuene Stadium, Calabar, Cross River tomorrow.
Alaiya said the plan of Coach Stephen Keshi is to use the early goals to unsettle the East African team who have been boasting of their readiness to upset the African champions in the crucial tie.
The veteran sports journalist hinted that the technical crew of the Eagles is targeting early goals in order to rattle their opponents because failure to score them early may give Kenya the confidence that may hamper Eagles’ chances in the match.
Giving insight into the likely line up of the Eagles in tomorrow’s match, Alaiya disclosed that he expects returnee Obafemi Martins who play Major League Soccer, MLS’s Seattle Sounders and Dynamo Kiev of Ukraine striker, Brown Ideye to lead the team’s onslaught against Kenya.
According to him, “from all indications I hope to see Martins and Ideye in the Eagles’ attack and you know when you have a pair like that it means the coaches want early goals in the match.”
Martins is also looking forward to optimism and high expectations.
“There is no small team anywhere in the world, but we will give our best against Kenya and hopefully we can win.”

........OH NATURE...........
Oh nature,my dearest companion;
Ever magical,ever charming.
Thou undesputable imposer of fate.
Thy manifestation is unequestionable
and thy benevolence is unequalled.
Thou who hath caused the sun to rise in the East
and set in the West.
Thy sun caresses my ebony skin by day
and thy moonlight shows direction to my gentle Iris in the dark.
Nothing compares to thy artistic prowess demonstrated in creation.
The fish of the sea,the fowl of the air,the beast in the field and the
creeping creatures are the beautiful works of thy hand.
"Thou who hath plant gardens in the earth filled with orchard of
promegranates bearing forth pleasant fruits, spikenard and
saffron; calamus and cinnamon,trees of frankincense;
myrrh and aloes, with all the chief spices".
Thou who hath made the elephant mightiest of all the
forest fauna, the Lion king of the jungle, the blue whale, lord of the
oceans and Man, the supremo generale.
How perfect is the works of thy hand.
Oh nature, my dearest nature.
Thou master planner of ages.
Even before the mountains were brought forth; forever thou hath been in existence.
Thy beautiful, kind, loving countenance thou hath shown unto mankind from time immemorial.
The singing birds in the air, the roaring beasts in the field,
The horandious calling voice of the frogs at night, the age old drum beats of the Apes;
All attest to thy flare for music, Irresistible rhythm they are in our hearing.
Oh nature, my bossom friend.
Weep no more for the exit of thy both parent; gone they have to the great beyond.
At last, freed from the wages of Adamic sin.
Alas, for every fallen star; a new star is born.
So, weep no more child for man; thy most prized work of creation hath rebelled
against thee by his highly destructive influence.
The madness called "Industrialization" hath eaten deep into his bone marrow.
Who's got the remedy?
Everybody claims to be the 'Messaiah' but only time will tell who is telling the truth,
For we all stoop to conquer.

STRATEGIC POSITIONING IN THE 21ST CENTURY
Greetings to you dear reader, I bring unto you good tidings according to
the gospel of strategic positioning in the 21st century, towards
securing your bright and glorious future. The 21st century no doubt
has been identified by seasoned economic analysts as an era of conceptual
analysis of knowledge and an age of information explosion and you would agree
with me that only those empowered with the right keys can survive its
complexity.
From all indications, it is obvious that majority of us who are presently
living in the 21st century would live and die in this same era, and
having known this fact, it has become paramount that we all try as much as
possible to learn and equip ourselves with the necessary skills required not
only for survival but also to enhance a landmark achievement as a key towards
immortality. According to Brandon Bruce lee; “the key to immortality is first
living a life worth remembering”. If you want to be remembered long after your
demise from planet earth, you would pay undivided attention to what I’m about
to discuss and if you long to live an unambitious life of affluence, you would
take cognizance of my teachings.
The 21st century, which can otherwise be referred to as an age
of unreasoning, where ventures formerly believed to be a wild goose chase turn
out to be a gold mine and a season where versatility is the prerequisite for
multiple streams of income for comfort. It is noteworthy, that reformation
awaits all sectors of the economy because workers will no longer get paid for
going to their office complex everyday but rather they get paid for the skills
they possess and the services they can render. Going by this analogy, it means
that a skilled individual can render services to as many companies/
organizations willing and able to pay for his/ her services at the same time,
while his/ her unskilled counterpart become unemployable. The measure of
success level of any business enterprise will no longer be based on how
gigantic the office complex is or the population of its workers, but measured
in terms of its productivity.
The 21st century equation; “½ x ½ x 3 ” stipulates that half
of the present labour force who are gainfully employed would loss their jobs,
while the other half who are able to retain their jobs would earn twice their
current pay and do thrice their present work load. The irony of this situation
is that, those who know how to spend the money will not get it, while those who
have the money will not enough have the time to spend it. The slogan for
survival now is “CUSTOMER, NO JOB”.
Any corner you turn to, all you would see is customer, no job opportunity. To
survive this situation, you need to awake from your slumber of looking for a
white collar job. Discover, develop and maximize your entrepreneurial skill so
as to make everybody your customer in your locality.
Strategic positioning simply
means when preparation meets divine opportunities which in most cases come with
great risks and responsibilities. For instance, a civil or construction
engineer in a developing nation where government are focusing on provision of
social amenities such as good roads, bridges, and electricity for her citizenry
would do well because of the skills he/ she has acquired. Likewise, an
agriculturist would excel in a country like Nigeria, where much emphasis is
being laid on food security. Also a journalist working in a media house would
never cry of hunger in a highly developed economy because a lot of people who
are into production would surely need an avenue to advertise their products to
enhance sales and patronage. The same goes for people who have storage
facilities such as cold room for preserving the self-life of perishables from
their farms et al because of the unimaginable income this
venture could fetch for the investor e.t.c. Remember, what you invest in
yourself today would definitely give you
edge over your competitors when it matters
most.
Harness fully your pedigree talent, natural gift and your area of core
competence and you would never grow ambitious. It is possible for you to be a
jack of all trades and master of all. DOUGHNUT
PRINCIPLE further explains this, using the three (3) rings concept. The
first ring represents Pedigree talent i.e. skills learnt/ inherited from ones
parent such as writing, sowing, cooking, aeration e.t.c. while the second ring
represents your natural gift and finally , the third ring connotes ones area of
core competence; that is the skills you’ve acquired through training either
former or informer. Combine these three-ring concepts and you would never
become unnecessarily ambitious in life.
Likewise, the SECOND CURVE
PRINCIPLE further explains how we can grow our enterprises as soon as we
are about reaching the peak level. It simply says; “draw another new curve at
the terminal end of an existing curve”. Instead of going back to slumber
because you have reached the top of your game or business, simply set another
goal bigger than the former one to enhance profitability.
Finally reader, you need God to succeed. All these above enumerated
principles and practices will amount to nothing if you do not acknowledge and
accept him as the author and finisher of our faith in whose presence we are
guaranteed abundant blessing according to his riches in glory. I long to see
you at the top of the ladder because that is where we all belong. I’ve got a
champion and a winner in you. Shalom

Gbasibe news: Nig Vs. Zam: Pres. Jonathan Sings For Keshi, Wishes Eagles All The Best
As the Super Eagles prepare to trade tackles against Zambia in a make or mar encounter at the ongoing African Cup of Nations, President Goodluck Jonathan a few minutes ago, called the team to wish them a successful outing.

Information Nigeria gathered that the call which lasted for about 40 minutes, saw the president speak to all the players and coaching crew.
And surprisingly, coach Stephen Keshi who turned 51 Wednesday, January 23, 2013, listened to the president sing him a birthday song.
In a related development, contrary to widespread reports that the gaffer shelved his birthday celebration due to the task at hand, he stated that he has never celebrated his birthday before as the only time he did was last year, when he clocked 50.
